Mr. Rakesh Setia is the President – Sales & Marketing at Rustomjee Group. He has more than three decades experience in Business Operations, Strategy, P&L Management and Sales & Marketing. He has worked with some top consumer brands, such as Kodak, Reebok, Luxor-Parker, Hutch, Idea Cellular and Vodafone Idea Limited across multiple Indian regions. Currently, he is working for a Mumbai based Premium Real Estate Organization “Rustomjee” as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer
Over three decades, he has worked across various industries across the country. He has demonstrated success and has grown in every organization during his career.
He is an avid learner with two MBA degrees from IMT, Ghaziabad (1997) and GlobalNXT University, Malaysia (2013), PG course in Business Finance from ICFAI, Hyderabad (1992) and ‘Advanced Management Program’ from INSEAD Singapore (2014). He is currently pursuing “Doctorate in Business Administration” (DBA) from SP Jain Institute of Global Research, Sydney likely to be completed by 2022
He is also a certified Team Coach through a rigorous 12 months program by The Works Partnership, USA
In Rustomjee, he is responsible for managing overall costs of business like cost of acquisition, collection, manpower and CRM and meeting Annual Operating Plans (AOP’s) for top line and cash flows. To lead the organization into the future, he is working on four pillars for growth identified as Product Strategy, Digitisation, Strong brand franchise and Analytics based business decision making.
