Shreya Rastogi is an aerospace engineer and entrepreneur, and is the Founder and CEO of SR Aerospace Solutions, an aerospace company focused on the design and manufacture of high-performance UAV propulsion systems. A graduate in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and a licensed private pilot, Shreya blends hands-on technical expertise with a deep passion for aviation and indigenous innovation. Under her leadership, SR Aerospace Solutions has become one of India, emerging forces in the aerospace startup ecosystem, specialising in carbon fiber propellers and propulsion solutions for drones. Her company has collaborated with premier institutions like CSIR-NAL and gained validation through third-party testing by Tsalla Aerospace, marking major milestones in performance, quality, and compliance.
Prior to founding her startup, Shreya held roles at NASA’s REVEALS Project, The ePlane Company, and various aerospace R&Dlabs. Her work has spanned UAV product development, structural health monitoring technologies, and advanced composite materials research. She is recognised not only for her engineering accomplishments but also for actively shaping India’s UAV industry through knowledge-sharing initiatives like the “Flight Lab,” which offered free testing support to drone startups.
