Devnagri is an AI-powered human translation platform to help businesses reach Indian Internet users in their regional languages. This platform currently has 5000+ translators. Driven by AI-based NLP, they aim to organise the way the translation industry works. They enable faster and on-time translation by using the AI-powered workflow and also aim to maximise the number of processed words while keeping operational costs controlled and reducing the number of words at every step of the production chain. Their technological focus is to help businesses localise and translate all their communication and software in Indian regional languages and have created an online platform for the same. They deploy custom NLP algorithms named Vaani and their ML algorithms learn every time translators and reviewers add context concerning the industry, locale, target audience, and genre of translation. Their ML engine works on morphological, POS tagging, lexical, semantic, and sentiment analysis of the content. They are designing the parallel corpora which contains a collection of original texts in language L1 and their translations into a multiple language L2,3 and so on. They are doing it for 11 Indian languages and have converted 3 million words till now. They use TensorFlow as their core, NLTK, and Keras libraries, and are currently building their proprietary engine.Their strategy is to approach businesses that are looking to expand beyond the Tier-1 cities and communicate to masses who are not fluent in English.
