Founded in April, 2017 by Indrajeet Roy and Pawan Raj Kumar Hoi Foods is a cloud kitchen startup with more than 150 active cloud-kitchens serving 5,000+ meals in a day across Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru. Cloud kitchen is a phenomenon in which a small food outlet, or group of food brands, share kitchen space under one roof. There is no option of dine-in so it serves as a delivery-only restaurant. Hoi Foods also runs a dark shop model called Hoi Stores for hyperlocal delivery through aggregators. In May, 2020 the startup raised $2 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by 1Crowd as a follow up round.
