Basic Information
Lokal Kitchen was founded in 2020 as a venture that was delivery home cooked food to people in Mumbai. Since inception, they have partnered with 100+ home chefs serving over 30+ local cuisines. Lokal Kitchen is a Made-in-India food delivery application with a mission of enabling a start-up culture in every Indian household whilst making home chefs and home makers self-reliant. Prepared with locally produced authentic ingredients and no added additives, these meals once ordered are freshly prepared and delivered to the customer’s doorstep. Its technology platform optimises food ordering and delivery by integrating web and mobile consumers with home chefs' phone-based applications. Order management and optimising the logistics partner is done via its delivery rider phone software. Lokal Kitchen also covers the whole supply chain for our home chefs, i.e. under the brand name Fresh Fleet. This team provides fresh groceries, freshly caught seafood, and meat at wholesale prices to reduce the overall cost of the meal.
