Kanpur based Samocha started by two school friends, Shivendra and Akash in Dec 2017. Samocha Ventures Private Limited is a Food and Beverage company which serves wide range of teas and snacks. It runs tea cafes under brand name "Samocha : Stories Around Chai". Their mission is to serve fresh and hygienic chai and snacks to the society at affordable price points , all in a cozy setting. At Samocha, people can go and enjoy their cup of tea , leave all worries behind , discuss ideas and create some great "stories around chai" (which is their tagline as well). The company has grown to 5 outlets within 2.5 years & recently started franchising as well.
