Torus Robotics is a Startup India recognised tech startup specialised in offering unmanned ground vehicles, robotics and indigenous powertrain system for defence and commercial applications. The startup was formed by founders M.Vignesh, K.Abbhi Vignesh, and Vibhakar Senthil Kumar. Torus Robotics indigenously designs, develops, and delivers fully electric unmanned ground vehicles for the Indian defence services equipped with a 6 DOF (degree of freedom) including robotic arm for detection, identification and disposal of life menacing unidentified objects. The startup was recognised by IDEX-DIO as a “Pioneer Defence Innovator”. The startup has recently signed an MOU with BEML (Bharat Earth Movers Limited) at the Aero India 2021 Expo to develop AI based unmanned ground vehicle for the Indian defence services.

Torus Robotics delivered Mobile Autonomous Robotics System (MARS) - UGV to DRDO & became the youngest startup to Indigenous Design, Develop & Deliver India's Largest Fully Electric Unmanned Ground Vehicle to the Indian Defence.
