Cognizant launches Neuro AI platform for enterprises
has announced a new, enterprise-wide platform, Cognizant Neuro AI, designed to provide enterprises with a comprehensive approach to accelerate the adoption of generative AI technology and harness its business value in a flexible, secure, scalable and responsible way.
The platform leverages Cognizant's consulting, advisory, ecosystem partnership, digital studios, solutions, and delivery capabilities, in conjunction with industry experts, to help clients transition into the era of generative AI.
Cognizant claimed it is among the first to launch an enterprise-wide generative AI platform designed to help clients better understand, consume and customise AI models that drive business outcomes.
According to the company, the Cognizant Neuro AI platform will guide firms on various aspects, from identifying company specific-use cases and operationalising AI to data engineering and continuous improvement. The platform enables AI and software engineering teams to build flexible, reusable, safe and secure solutions, and design conversational and generative user experiences, embedding AI models to create fully functioning apps—all supported across multi-platform, multi-cloud ecosystems.
Deloitte India acquires two assets from Websym Solutions
Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP has acquired two assets—Tezeva and FaktoryWize—from Websym Solutions Pvt Ltd, a Pune-based tech startup that specialises in data-driven solutions and services. Their teams will also onboard Deloitte India.
By acquiring the assets, Deloitte India has expanded its existing portfolio of services and strengthened its ability to offer end-to-end advice, implement, and operate solutions to manufacturers, industrial, and consumer OEMs and smart city/smart utilities deployments.
These assets will help organisations to harness IoT, big data, cloud, and analytics and enable real-time process management. Additionally, they will provide actionable analytics to enhance productivity, improve efficiency, boost operational visibility, and enforce process compliance.
Wayfair opens tech development centre in Bengaluru
Wayfair, the US-headquartered ecommerce company focused on home products, has opened its India Technology Development Centre (TDC) in Bengaluru and aims to hire around 300 employees in the next year.
According to Wayfair, the Bengaluru centre is part of its ongoing global talent expansion where it has already established new TDCs in North America over the last year. Wayfair will be hiring for roles in the areas of supply chain technology, website and native apps. To lead the new Bengaluru TDC, Wayfair appointed Rohit Kaila as the Head of Technology and Site Leader for Wayfair in India.
NTT Data Payment adopts Facctum’s platform
Facctum, a risk tech company, has announced that FacctViewTM, a new screening platform, has been chosen by NTT Data Payment Services to expand its anti-financial crime defences. This new technology will support NTT Data Payments Services’ ecommerce platforms by detecting and assessing sanctions, terrorism financing, and money laundering risk in consumer transactions.
According to a statement, the deal provides NTT Data Payment Services with high-performance countermeasures to the threats posed by criminals attempting to commit financial crimes.
With growing volumes of digital transactions, combined with changing customer behaviours, there is an increasing concern about the potential abuse of Payment Service Providers (PSPs) through cyber-attacks. The increasing risks to which PSPs are exposed have led to increasingly stringent regulatory standards of compliance effectiveness.
Kore.ai appoints new SVP
, an enterprise conversational AI platform and solutions company, has announced the appointment of Neil Barman as Senior Vice President - Sales and Partnerships, for leading the company’s market expansion in the region.
Based out of Bengaluru, India, Neil will head Kore.ai’s growth in the region encompassing the Middle East, India, South-East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Neil brings more than two decades of international business experience running enterprise B2B sales in SaaS and direct-to-customer sales and marketing, partnerships and alliances at companies of various sizes.
