Wipro partners with ServiceNow
Wipro, one of the leading Indian IT services company revealed its five-year business partnership with ServiceNow to invest in and bring new offerings to the market.
It is expected to help accelerate Wipro’s goal of building a $1 billion business with ServiceNow by the end of 2026. As part of the partnership Wipro and ServiceNow will deliver joint clients process consulting, implementation, configuration, and managed services. The partnership will cover all global geographies and will initially focus on four key industries: financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, energy, and utilities.
The expanded partnership will provide a global framework to automate and optimise technology service operations; activate environmental, social, and government (ESG) standards across the enterprise; enable new digital business/customer/employee experiences; and hyper automate enterprise resource planning (ERP).
Infosys to lower variable payout for employees to 60%: report
Infosys, India’s second largest IT services exporter will be reducing the average variable payout to its employees for the fourth quarter of FY23 to 60%, according to multiple media reports.
The payout will be given along with the salary for May. Though the final variable payout for the employees will depend on their unit or department guidelines and it will be varied for different pay grades and departments, Moneycontrol reported.
Infosys had lowered the variable payout to 70% in the first quarter of FY23 and further reduced to 65% in the second quarter of the fiscal, as per the report. Infosys asked the employees to remain vigilant to the changes in the market and view the current climate as an opportunity to rally as a group and remain committed to navigating the changing business landscape, the report said citing an email sent to employees.

Microsoft Translator adds three new Indian languages
Microsoft India has added three new Indian languages Konkani, Maithili, and Sindhi, into Microsoft Translator. Along with this, Microsoft Translator will also support Sinhala, the official language of Sri Lanka. With this latest release, Microsoft said it is further democratising access to information in native languages for India. Microsoft Translator now supports 16 Indian languages: including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Punjabi, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Microsoft Translator will now allow over 95% of Indians to access information and work in their native or preferred languages, making computing language-agnostic and more inclusive in India. It can help general users interpret real-time conversations, menus, street signs, websites, and documents. Microsoft Translator can be used across Windows, iOS, Android, and the web.
The function is available on the Microsoft Translator app, edge browser, Office 365, Bing Translator, and through the Azure Cognitive Services Translator API for businesses and developers.
Kyndryl forms new partnership with SAP
Kyndryl, a global IT infrastructure services provider has expanded its strategic partnership with SAP focused on developing new solutions with an aim to solve complex digital business transformation challenges.
Under this expanded collaboration, the companies have leveraged SAP Business Transformation Center and ERP systems know-how, along with Kyndryl’s expertise in data, application migration, and modernisation services to chart an efficient and cost-effective path to the cloud for customers.
Specifically, Kyndryl and SAP collaborated on a digital blueprint capability that enables customers and partners to strategically assess, define and outline their migration and transformation plan for their transition from existing SAP ERP systems to SAP S/4HANA.
In close collaboration with Kyndryl, SAP plans to continuously expand the SAP Business Transformation Center, which helps customers efficiently transform their SAP environment to drive business value by moving to and using the latest SAP products.
