Infosys Finacle bags order from Keytrade Bank of Belgium
Keytrade Bank—an online bank in Belgium and part of Credit Mutuel Arkea—one of France’s largest banking groups, has selected Infosys Finacle as the preferred partner for the modernisation of its core banking system. Infosys Finacle is part of EdgeVerve Systems—a wholly-owned subsidiary of Infosys.
The Infosys Finacle suite will replace Keytrade Bank’s legacy platform and help the bank leapfrog its digital maturity, enabling it to innovate, operate, and engage with customers better.
This collaboration will streamline the bank’s core banking ecosystem to enable greater efficiency, faster time to market for products, and state-of-the-art technology architecture, and ensure the best experience for its customers. The bank will subscribe to the Infosys Finacle suite in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) mode on the Microsoft Azure public cloud.
Wondrlab acquires Salesforce company Cymetrix
, an Indian marketing technology platform, has acquired a majority stake in Cymetrix, a Salesforce consulting and data analytics company in the US and India, to strengthen its customer transformation and technology capabilities. Cymetrix is Wondrlab’s fourth acquisition since its launch in late 2020.
Cymetrix, with a team of over 200 certified professionals, has deep expertise across the Salesforce solution stack. It has delivered projects across industries, including BFSI, real estate, pharma, hi-tech, non-profits, healthcare, retail, and education, serving clients in North America, Europe, the UK, the Middle East, Japan, and India. The founders of Cymetrix, Sandip Chintawar and Prakash Kolhe, will continue to lead the company.

LTIMindtree joins Microsoft Intelligent Security Association
LTIMindtree, a mid-tier IT services company, has joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA). MISA is an ecosystem of independent software vendors (ISVs) and managed security service providers (MSSPs) that have integrated their solutions with Microsoft’s security technology.
This collaboration and security specialisations will allow LTIMindtree to leverage the Microsoft Security product portfolio to enhance its MDR platform and help enterprises prevent, detect, and respond to the most sophisticated cyberattacks in real-time with Microsoft Sentinel.
LTIMindtree’s MDR is designed to deliver cybersecurity and resiliency services through a modular, systematic, platformised approach. It uses a pay-per-use model coupled with flexible operations, reducing the load and dependency on in-house security teams and enables swift resolution of issues.
Wipro gets top ranking on sustainability initiatives
Wipro has bagged second place in The Financial Times' “Climate Leaders Asia-Pacific 2023” list. The company was also ranked #1 in the ‘Business and Professional Services’ sector.
The recognition underscores Wipro’s commitment to reducing its carbon impacts and its ongoing efforts to increase transparency in its reporting. The IT giant has committed to achieving net-zero GHG emissions by 2040 and is part of leading industry networks working on the subject like Transform to Net Zero, WEF, the Carbon Call and Open Footprint.

Whatfix expands partnership with Microsoft
SaaS company
is expanding its collaboration with Microsoft with its listing on the Azure Marketplace, aimed at providing data-driven digital adoption solutions to joint customers.The listing will enable global enterprises on the Microsoft Azure cloud to access and deploy solutions from Whatfix that meet their business needs. Whatfix has different plans built to cater to a wide variety of DAP use cases and customers can choose the plan best suited for them, directly from the Azure Marketplace to begin their digital adoption journey.
Whatfix focuses on making technology more intuitive, collaborative, and self-serviceable for software users and helping organisations achieve capabilities and productivity goals through the concept of userisation. The goal is to ultimately influence business value outcomes like revenue win rate, cost reduction, risk compliance, and more.
BAM Digital Realty to set up data centre in Mumbai
BAM Digital Realty, a joint venture between Brookfield Infrastructure and Digital Realty, has acquired 2.15 acres of land in Chandivali, Mumbai, to build a new state-of-the-art data center, its second in India.
With a total expected investment of more than Rs 2,000 crore, the facility will deliver 35MW of IT load upon completion, bringing the company’s total planned capacity in India to 135MW.
BAM Digital Realty’s new site was selected for its proximity to customers and central location in metro Mumbai, essential characteristics of a well-connected facility capable of supporting the growing demand for critical digital infrastructure in this region.
This strategic investment in Mumbai builds upon BAM Digital Realty’s initial foray into the Indian market. The company’s first 20MW greenfield data centre (MAA10) on a 100MW campus in Chennai is on track for launch at the end of 2023.
Together, the data centres in Mumbai and Chennai will deliver rich ecosystem access to both west- and east-bound customers, leveraging Digital Realty’s global data centre platform, PlatformDIGITAL.
