Cloud security company Sysdig sees strong market in India
India is one of the fastest-growing markets for the US-based cloud security company. In fact, India is contributing around one-third of Sysdig’s revenue globally, according to a company official.
Sysdig, the San Francisco headquartered cloud security company, sees India as one of its strongest markets globally, with strong demand coming in from across sectors for its solutions.
Sysdig was founded in 2013 and entered the Indian market about three years ago. The company is finding the strongest traction from the public sector and the financial services segment.
“We are doubling our business in India and our plan is to stay here for a very long time,” said Gary Olson, chief revenue officer, Sysdig, in an interaction with mediapersons here on Friday.
According to the company official, India is contributing around one-third of Sysdig’s revenue globally. In addition, Sysdig has six public cloud data centres globally, with one of them located in India.
Sysdig's technology platform is built on open-source tools and operates on an AI model. The company noted this provides the ability to deliver solutions which address the three key challenges of enterprises—complexity, speed and productivity concerning cloud security.
Speaking about the company's investments in India, Olson remarked that it will expand its go-to-market teams, customer services, product engineering and technology infrastructure.
In India, Sysdig has partnerships with hyperscalers such as AWS, Oracle Cloud, IBM Cloud, besides other channel partners.
