Arch Capital Group opens two GCCs in India
The GCCs of Arch Capital Group will serve its insurance businesses by tapping into the talent pool in India.
Arch Capital Group, the Nasdaq-listed insurance services company, has announced the opening of two new global capabilities centres (GCCs) in Trivandrum and Pune, with a third one planned for Hyderabad. This is being implemented through a partnership with ANSR.
According to a statement, the new offices will serve as workplaces for more than 350 employees. These GCCs are expected to enhance Arch’s ability to service its insurance, reinsurance and mortgage insurance businesses, while enabling the company to tap into India’s skilled talent pool in areas such as analytics, technology and operations.
“These offices will help us scale key capabilities, strengthen service delivery for business operations around the world and drive innovation across Arch,” said Prashant Nema, Deputy Chief Operations Officer at Arch.
Meanwhile, ANSR has entered into a partnership with ansrsource, a learning and development services company. This partnership aims to establish enterprise scale learning ecosystems for the GCCs in India.
“By integrating advanced learning methodologies into our GCC delivery model, we are enabling our clients to achieve unprecedented levels of operational excellence and business performance," ANSR Founder & CEO Lalit Ahuja said.
According to a statement, the joint offering by these companies will allow GCCs to achieve 25 percent improvement in employee retention rates and 45 percent acceleration in leadership development timelines.
“This is our first foray into the APAC market and a chance to deliver transformational learning optimisation to support accelerated business acquisition, improved operational maturity, and faster deployment of business-critical competencies for participating GCCs," President & CEO Rajiv Narayana said.
