The GCC of Cohere Health will tap into the AI talent pool of India to scale its product development
US-headquartered healthtech company Cohere Health has announced the launch of its Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad.
According to a statement from Cohere Health, it is scaling the GCC into a centre of excellence (CoE) that deepens clinical intelligence and improves outcomes for health plans, clinicians, and patients worldwide. It noted that India is a cornerstone of the company’s global operating model.
“We’re excited about bringing together the best of AI-powered clinical intelligence with the remarkable talent and passion India has to offer," said Siva Namasivayam, CEO, Cohere Health. "As we scale globally, the GCC is instrumental: driving better decision-making and payer-provider interactions and ultimately improving patient care access and outcomes.”
The company said the Hyderabad GCC will bring together expert AI and AI/ML engineering, analytics, and clinical operations teams to strengthen its global capabilities and accelerate product advancements. It said the centre expands the company’s capacity to scale clinically trained AI and deliver more connected solutions that improve payer-provider collaboration.
Himanshu Gandhi, Site General Manager for Cohere Health India said, “Our focus is on more than just operational excellence but also nurturing a culture that bridges deep clinical excellence with advanced AI and engineering–building the foundation to support responsible solutions at scale and strengthen our mission and vision worldwide.”
Looking ahead, Cohere Health plans to continue expanding the Hyderabad GCC with strategic hiring across engineering, product, payment integrity and clinical operations, data science, and compliance–strengthening its global teams and capacity.
The company said this expansion positions Cohere Health to meet the increased demand for clinically trained AI solutions that streamline complex processes, improve health outcomes, and enhance payer-provider collaboration across the healthcare continuum.
