Progress Software expands Bengaluru GCC
The GCC expansion of Progress Software is aligned with the company’s strategy of seeing India as key pillar of its growth strategy.
Progress Software has announced the relocation and expansion of its Bengaluru office, underscoring the continued growth of its India Global Capability Centre (GCC). The new facility highlights the company’s increasing focus on India as a strategic hub for global AI innovation, talent development, and business growth.
The expanded office is designed to foster deeper collaboration, accelerate AI-led innovation, and support the scaling of key functions—including engineering, product development, sales, customer success, marketing, and operations. The move aligns with Progress Software’s broader efforts to strengthen its global capabilities and invest in a future-ready workforce.
“India is a critical pillar of our global growth and innovation strategy,” said Yogesh Gupta. He added that the new Bengaluru office will enable teams to collaborate more effectively, innovate faster and deliver enhanced value to customers worldwide.
Progress has steadily expanded its presence in India, with operations across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and New Delhi contributing to advancements in AI, data platforms, digital experience and infrastructure management. Notably, nearly 25% of its India workforce is engaged in customer-facing roles such as sales, support, customer success and marketing, underlining the country’s importance in driving global business outcomes.
The expansion also reinforces Progress’ commitment to Bengaluru’s technology ecosystem. As part of its broader community engagement efforts, the company is partnering with The Bodhi Tree Foundation to support social initiatives, including the donation of electric wheelchairs.
With this development, Progress aims to further strengthen its role in delivering responsible AI-driven solutions and modern digital infrastructure to enterprises worldwide.
