Salesforce launches SMB Growth Kit with AI capabilities
The new growth kit of Salesforce aims to provide a cohesive tech platform for SMBs which could in result in better efficiency and higher revenue growth
Salesforce, the global agentic CRM software company, has introduced the SMB Growth Kit in India as it brings a curated technology platform for the small and medium businesses with the aim to accelerate their growth trajectory.
The SMB Growth Kit will include the software platforms of Agentforce Sales, Slack and Tableau.
In an interaction with EnterpriseStory, Mankiran Chowhan, Managing Director, Salesforce India, said, “We are bringing whatever is needed for the SMBs be it from the perspective of sales, business efficiency or scale.”
According to Chowhan, the big challenge SMBs face as they grow is the increased complexity in the organisation leading to a fragmented environment in terms of data, revenue pipeline, inefficiencies in collaboration etc.
Salesforce believes the new kit will help SMBs to replace their disconnected tools and apps and bring everything together onto a single platform providing them higher visibility and improved collaboration thereby supporting their business growth. The kit can be implemented in a span of 4-6 weeks.
The Agentforce sales brings the structure and visibility to the revenue channel of business. Slack is a collaboration platform and Tableau provides all the analytical capabilities.
Underlying all these tech platforms is the inbuilt artificial intelligence (AI) capability. Ms Chowhan said the appetite from AI perspective from the SMBs is huge as they realise this can drive more efficiency, productivity and ultimately leading to higher revenue growth. “When scale is opportunity then AI can really help,” she remarked.
Though at the same time, SMBs are also cautious about their investments in such AI platforms as they do not have the bandwidth to experiment with this technology unlike large enterprises.
“Our premise has always been that SMBs should always be able to maximise on their technology investments,” Chowhan said.
Salesforce India reported 47% rise in revenue growth for financial year ending March 31, 2025 to touch Rs 13,384.5 crore. It has over 17,000 employees spread across the country.
