Wipro Consumer care acquires D2C brand Dermatouch for Rs 387.5 Cr
Dermatouch is a five-year-old skincare brand, and this acquisition gives Wipro Consumer Care a strong foothold in the premium segment.
Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting has announced the acquisition of Ahmedabad-based beauty and skincare brand Dermatouch for an enterprise value of Rs 387.5 crore.
A statement from Wipro Consumer Care noted that this is its 18th acquisition globally and the third one in the last one month. The company said the acquisition gives it a strategic entry into the premium skincare segment in India.
Founded in 2021 by Anish Nagpal and Amit Purswani, Dermatouch reported Rs 131 crore in revenue for FY26, which was a growth of 114% when compared to FY25.
The statement also noted that this D2C startup was selling about 60,000 products monthly two years ago and now it sells the same number each day.

Wipro Consumer Care will be first acquiring 60% stake and the remaining stake over the next three years. The founders of Dermatouch will continue to run the business during this period.
Commenting on the acquisition, Kumar Chander, CEO, Wipro Consumer Care, said, "Dermatouch represents an exciting opportunity for us as our first foray into digital brands. We have been clear that we would only look at Digital brands that have the potential to expand offline, which Dermatouch has already proven. The brand has earned significant consumer trust in a short span of time, and we see considerable potential to scale it further by combining its innovation-led approach with Wipro’s capabilities.”
According to the statement, Dermacare has built its proposition around a shift in consumer behaviour where skincare is increasingly moving from beauty-led choice to efficacy-led choice.
“Wipro’s legacy of trust, consumer-first philosophy and decades of experience in building and scaling successful brands across global markets makes it an ideal partner for our next phase of growth. Its extensive distribution network and deep research capabilities will enable us to take Dermatouch to newer heights, and make it a truly global brand," said the founders of Dermatouch.
Wipro Consumer Care had recently acquired the Good Home and Eva brands from TTK Healthcare, as well as S brands in the Philippines.
