French startup StarofService, raised $10 million capital in a recent fund raiser. Andrea Piccioni and Silvio Pagliani Enern Investments and Point Nine Capital participated in this round of financing.
With an idea of making services more easy to access, this start up that was launched in 2013 as a small network of individuals in France, has now gone on to have a presence in over 80 countries.
With thousands of happy customers worldwide, StarofService is using its momentum to surge ahead and be a truly global service provider.
StarofService might be a look-alike of Thumbstack, the US based online service provider. While Thumbtack remains the unbeaten leader in the US, StarofService aims at hitting the world market, instead of being confined to its boundaries. They want to make the service accessible to the entire world.
The company is seeing a lot of traction in markets like India, Indonesia, Italy and Germany.
Monica Zamfir, Director of International Operations says “India has seen some substantial growth since the time we started one year ago. More than 30,000 professionals have registered and we are looking to grow aggressively in the next 3 years.”
