1) Google. Famous for its creativity-inducing workspaces, Google offices all across the globe – including Indian locations – are known to have introduced innovative work culture. Who would’ve thought that allowing pets to work can help relieve the pet-care stress and the employees can focus better at work! The latest one in their list is nap zones; employees can take their ‘snooze breaks' or ‘nap time’ during work hours if and when they need to. The management and the psychoanalysts say that regular breaks and freedom to nap actually boosts their idea flow. Maybe that's why such breaks are called power naps!
2) Talentica, Pune. This innovative outsourced product development company that helps the startups build their own products was recently termed as "India's best company to work for" in 2016. Apart from firmly believing that happy employees are key to company success, one "wow" thing they do is welcoming new joinees with a flash mob. The moment the office hours end, i.e., at 6 pm, the workstations are retracted leaving an empty span of office space. These cables are strong steel cables which are normally used in theaters to move around heavy props.
