Let the largest lake in Karnataka stupefy you with its alluring surroundings and flora-fauna. Locate at the base of Chamundi Hills, the lake qualifies as one of the most scenic and serene spots in Mysore. When more than 70 species of birds migrate to this lake in a particular season, the scene looks absolutely amazing. Having a picnic by the lake side might not be a bad idea if you are around.

A one of its kind museum, Melody World Wax Museum displays a collection of over 300 wax statues with three hundred different music instruments. It is also the third largest museum in India. From stone age to modern age, name any musical instrument and you will find it in this museum. There is even a mini-rail which takes its visitors on a ride through the museum.
