FORE School of Management, New Delhi celebrated its annual Alumni Meet, at the FORE Campus, New Delhi. Jubilate 2018 brought together the proud alumni of the B-School from destinations far and wide. FORE School has over five thousand strong alumni in various leadership positions in business and industry, spread across 15 countries of the world. The distinguished gathering of alumni at the school, celebrating the achievements of their peers, further strengthened the bonds of the FORE family.

The organizing committee of the event, FORE Alumni Network (FAN), led by Professor Sriparna Basu, Professor-in-Charge, extended the alumni a warm welcome. Dr. Jitendra K. Das, Director, FORE School of Management, highlighted the growing list of alumni making their mark in their respective fields. In his inspiring address, he said: “An institute is known by its alumni and we are proud of you all. I would love to see the alumni come back to the institute and carry the brand forward by participating in institutional activities.”

Mr. R.C. Sharma, Former Director CBI, and President of FORE, expressed in his message that students and alumni of FORE have spread knowledge, professionalism and humanitarianism across the six continents today, in diverse fields and with premier brands. The institution’s emphasis on social responsibility and commitment to each other has enabled this network to thrive over the years.

Dr. B.B.L. Madhukar, former CMD MMTC, and Vice President (Finance) and Treasurer of FORE, said that the value of life lies in its happiness quotient, and nurturing relationships is one of the ways to reach that quotient.

At Jubilate 2018, the alumni recognized the contributions of stalwarts by honouring them with awards. Mr. Girish Banwait, Sales Head of Franke Faber, received the Alumni Recognition Award for Executive Leadership; Ms Haneet Bhasin Vohra, Marketing Director, KSB Designs, won the Alumni Recognition Award for Entrepreneurship; and Mr. Gaurav Joshi, Director Asia-Pacific, Bacardi Global Travel Retail Division, was awarded for Contribution to Alma Mater. Receiving the award Mr. Banwait said, “To be recognized by an institution which has prepared me and taught me, how to be a good leader and marketer, is something very special. I think I’ll remember this not only for the rest of my career but the rest of my life.” Speaking for her batch mates Ms Haneet Vohra said, “I’m extremely humble, very grateful and accept this on behalf of a whole lot of Alumni of FORE School.” Mr. Gaurav Joshi, in his speech, said, “As a student, it’s every person’s dream to be recognized by their institute about having done well. I feel honored and humbled to receive this award.

The theme for Jubilate 2018 was “Back to School”, and this seemed to contribute to the energy and bonhomie created throughout the evening, with the alumni revisiting their old class rooms and cafeteria where the journey had begun.

With the evening drawing to a close with big smiles on all faces, and promises to be back ringing in the air, the grand celebration drew to a close.
