FISME to send MSME delegation to Taipei International Machine Tool Show in March 2019
A delegation of Indian micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) will attend the Taipei International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS), Asia’s second largest machine tool trade show, according to media reports.
The Federation of Indian Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises (FISME), the apex body for MSME associations in india, is organising their participation, and has invited applications from MSMEs interested in being a part of the delegation.
The selected businesses will attend the 27th edition of TIMTOS, which is organised by Taiwan External Trade Development Council and Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry from March 4 to 9, 2019. TIMTOS is a platform for domestic and international companies to showcase their latest products.
The exhibition will display a wide range of machine and equipment. The fair will see more than 1,200 exhibitors, and attendees can discover products from the machine tool supply chain, smart technologies, and manufacturing solutions..
Products include metal cutting tools, casting and forging auxiliary, laser punching machines, vibration grinding, metal forming machinery, welding, surface treatment tools, tube and wire processing, machine tool parts and accessories, and several more.
The delegation of Indian MSMEs will be in Taiwan from March 3 to 7, 2019. The country has a unique machine tool cluster that comprises more than 16,500 machinery producers and component suppliers that form an integrated supply chain. So far, FISME has taken more than six delegations to Taiwan.
In December 2018, FISME partnered with Amazon India to tap growth opportunities in the ecommerce sector. The duo will conduct various events and workshops across the country to enable and encourage MSMEs to sell their products to millions of consumers in India and across the globe by using ecommerce marketplace solutions.
