MSME-TDC to conduct a 2-day certified training programme on the Internet of Things (IoT)
The training programme will provide a foundation in the Internet of Things, including the components, tools, and analysis by teaching the concepts behind the IoT and a look at real-world solutions.
The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of the MSME Technology Development Centre (MSME-TDC) is organising a certified training programme on the Internet of Things (IoT) in New Delhi, say media reports. The programme will take place on May 18 and May 19, at the Ministry of MSME Extension Centre, Connaught Place.
According to the MSME-TDC, the following areas will be covered in the programme: introduction to IoT, acquiring data, utilising data, IoT analytics, IoT services and applications, and more.
In a document hosted on its website, MSME-TDC said: “The course gives a foundation in the Internet of Things, including the components, tools, and analysis by teaching the concepts behind the IoT and a look at real-world solutions.”
MSME-TDC added that the course aims to help graduating students and industry members understand the definition and significance of the Internet of Things, discuss the architecture, operation, and business benefits of an IoT solution, examine the potential business opportunities that IoT can uncover, explore the relationship between IoT, cloud computing, and big data, and identify how IoT differs from traditional data collection systems.
“The Internet of Things is spawning the next industrial revolution. This program will give you a solid understanding of how to develop and implement your own IoT solutions using sensor connected IoT devices and IoT gateway,” MSME-TDC said.
Expected attendees include science or engineering graduates, individuals or beginners seeking career opportunities in IoT, professionals who want to learn the fundamentals of IoT, businessmen, entrepreneurs, corporates, and NGOs.
A certificate will be awarded to these candidate on successful completion of the course after taking an evaluation examination.
