Bajaj Auto, one of India's leading two-wheeler manufacturers, launched its electric scooter, the Bajaj Chetak EV, in 2019.

A premium electric scooter that offers a blend of modern technology and retro design, the all metal Chetak EV is powered by a 4 kW electric motor, which delivers a peak power of 5.36 bhp and a peak torque of 16 Nm. The scooter has a top speed of 63-70 km/h and can cover a distance of up to 90 km on Eco mode and 80 km on Sports on a single charge. The battery of the scooter can be fully charged in four hours using a standard 5A household socket just like your mobile phone.
