Pinky Daga is CEO, Thriive Art & Soul, a state-of-the-art digital wellness portal which showcases and registers a verified network of alternative healers and therapists from over 150 alternative health modalities. She aims to build a collective community of healers. Thriive offers a plethora of wellness services such as yoga, meditation, art therapy, sound healing, colour therapy, dance therapy, self- healing, reiki among others. What is your idea of perfect happiness?

When you are content and balanced within, then your external experiences start reflecting this, and suddenly there are moments and chances to live the greatest expression of joy and life becomes a delicious adventure!

What is your greatest fear?

Not being able to maintain a state of high vibration. After years of exploring and experimenting with thousands of techniques, I now know that creating and maintaining a state of high vibration, through a deep sense of self love and awareness, truly does create your reality. When I let my vibe crash low, my life becomes chaos in every area. I really fear that happening and do whatever it takes to prevent it.


What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?


Self-doubt.


What is the trait you most deplore in others?


Artificiality.


Which living person do you most admire?


Oprah Winfrey.


What is your greatest extravagance?


Enjoying the world’s best wellness experiences.


What is your current state of mind?


A keen state of awareness - being in tune with every emotion - high or low.


What do you consider the most overrated virtue?


Diplomacy. It’s just another word to repress what you’re truly feeling and isn’t that just wasting everyone’s time?


On what occasion do you lie?


When it saves a lot of time and angst for everyone involved.


What do you most dislike about your appearance?


I’ve worked too hard on self-love and acceptance to dislike anything now. Everything works and that’s the greatest gift!


Which living person do you most despise?


Malice and hatred doesn’t really exist in my dictionary because I truly believe that each and every soul is living a journey of his own creation that fosters learning for him or herself. 




What is the quality you most like in a man?


Boldness.


What is the quality you most like in a woman?


Empowerment.


Which words or phrases do you most overuse?


'I just have this feeling'.


What or who is the greatest love of your life?


My Kindle.


Which talent would you most like to have?


I would love to be musically gifted.


If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?


I would love to be able to control my tongue in every situation.


What do you consider your greatest achievement?


My network of true genuine friends spanning four decades and on every continent. I truly thank my stars that I have over 200 people who would drop everything and rush to my side if I ever needed them. This is my life’s greatest gift and achievement.


If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?


I would want to come back as one of the tech power-houses that would wield my considerable influence to embed the knowledge of universal energy laws in people so that they could transform their life by living a life of effecting a cause, rather than blindly just living as an effect of the cause.


Where would you most like to live?


Ubud, Bali.


What is your most treasured possession?


My Kindle.


What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?


Rage that blows over and hurts the people you love the most.


What is your favourite occupation?


Writing and dancing.


What is your most marked characteristic?


The ability to speak the truth.


What do you most value in your friends?


Genuineness.


Who are your favourite writers?


J.K Rowling, Jane Austen, J.R.R. Tolkien, George R.R. Martin and Paulo Coelho.


Who is your hero of fiction?


Gandalf---the greatest wizard of all time - powerful yet compassionate and comforting.



Who are your heroes in real life?


My grandmother who ran her house of 10 children with an iron will, empowerment, a keen sense of business, and with a great air of regality, after hailing from a royal family, marrying a business man, and losing him before her 40th birthday. My mother for her incredible depth of love, balance, sense of fun, and tolerance, no matter how tough the road became.


What is your favourite name?


Ariel, inspired by my childhood love of the Little Mermaid.


What is your greatest regret?

Not showing all the love I ever had in my heart to the people I’ve lost.


How would you like to die?


Peacefully, with love in my heart.


What is your favourite journey?


An unpredictable one that leads to the greatest adventures.
