Mumbai 

Ballimaaraan: The Piyush Mishra Project 

When: August 10, 7 PM onwards 

Where: Shanmukhananda Hall

Founded in 2016 and helmed by actor, writer, lyricist and singer Piyush Mishra, Ballimaaraan: The Piyush Mishra Project has performed across the country and has gained immense popularity with its songs which promise to be a mixed bag of catchy, peppy and thought-provoking tunes. This weekend, the team will pay homage to Urdu poet Mirza Ghalib and the name of the course is inspired by the street in Delhi where the bard once lived.

Bars Wars

Where: Waikiki, Sakinaka

Cost: Rs 2,000

NAO Spirits, the parent company of Greater Than Gin is back with its bartender-server competition, Bar Wars. With the mission to honour the teamwork between bartenders and servers, Bar Wars is set to showcase the best bar duos from bars across India. This weekend, shortlisted bar teams across Mumbai come together at Waikiki to participate in the bartending competition.

Open Mic: Speak Up for Gaza 

When: August 10, 5 PM to 9 PM 

Where: Method Kala Ghoda

For nearly 300 days, the world has watched a live-streamed genocide. With support from the creative community, Method Kala Ghoda is hosting an open mic night to express solidarity. The event is to reaffirm the individual and collective commitment to stand up for what is right.

The event will coincide with the closing weekend of American artist-activist Alexis Rose’s ongoing exhibition The Future Will Remember, an offering for the archaeological record of unfolding atrocities in Gaza.

Shreya Ghosal Live

Shreya Ghosal comes to Delhi with her All Hearts Tour to perform some of her unforgettable hits. The evening promises pure magic as the singer takes the audience through a mesmerising journey with her timeless songs.

Fabric as Paint

This unique workshop challenges traditional art forms by helping transform ordinary fabric into extraordinary works of art. The experience invites artists to view fabric as a painter’s palette, helping them create visual compositions by cutting, stitching, and manipulating fabric that rivals traditional paintings.

Nail That Brew
