Disney Cruise Line comes to Asia, to set sail in 2025

Disney Cruise Line, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company that offers cruise line operation, launched its Disney Adventure in Singapore.

Launched in collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board, Disney Adventure will sail three- and four-night cruises from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre for at least five years, starting in 2025.

"We're bringing the magic of Disney Cruise Line to Asia for the first time ever, and we want to give our guests the cruise relaxation and Disney fun they can only experience aboard one of our ships," said Sharon Siskie, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Disney Cruise Line.

Disney Adventure will also be featuring seven themed areas, including Disney Imagination Garden (a garden and open-air performance venue inspired by the 100 years of heroic and heartwarming Disney adventures), Disney Discovery Reef (a shopping and dining retreat amid aquatic characters and nautical stories from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios), and San Fransokyo Street (a family entertainment area inspired by the world of Big Hero 6).

It will also include Wayfinder Bay (an open-air poolside retreat reflecting the Pacific Islands-inspired artistry of Disney Animation's Moana), Town Square (a fantastical forest filled with shops, lounges, cafes, restaurants and entertainment venues, inspired by Disney royals), Toy Story Place (a whimsical interactive play land with themed food venues and water play areas inspired from Pixar's Toy Story), and Marvel Landing (Avengers-level adventures and experiences showcasing Marvel's larger-than-life personalities).

Each cruise will include indoor and outdoor fun activities, exciting attractions, interactive play areas, and special entertainment. Young cruisers will have dedicated spaces and clubs for kids, and adults can unwind at the premium dining and lounge areas, or indulge in spa experiences.

Disney Cruise Line estimates the passenger capacity of the 208,000-gross-ton Disney Adventure to be approximately 6,700 with around 2,500 crew members.

So far, Disney Cruise Line operates a fleet of five ships sailing to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, with three more ships on the way.
