Healthy Che stands true to its name while dishing out mouth watering delicacies and providing the utmost epicurean pleasure to the genuine epicures. We all have been lured to and are fond of street food, ranging from ‘Panipuri’ to ‘Chat’ and devouring them in spite of the hygienic value has been heavenly. Healthy Che assures to change the outlook, with health and hygiene as their prime value they are all set and have rolled out variety of cuisines that range from Indian, Thai, Tibetan, Chinese and Mediterranean.


Established recently, Healthy Che is the brainchild of Ruchir Joshi, a Master in Development Communication, currently pursuing PGPCME at Mudra Institute of Communication (MICA). With a good initial investment Ruchir laid the foundation for Healthy Che, however, regrets on having shelled an extra thousand on it. Healthy Che is the first diversification form his parent venture called Healthy – Earth Services Pvt. Ltd. Ruchir is enthusiastic about the coming time as the concept gains popularity and expectation of expansion are on high. On the cards Ruchir plans to include two more wagons by year end and spread its branches across Gujarat by the next year. 


Healthy Che, the roaming food wagon is prepared to meet the taste buds of the health conscious twenty-first century society. It has a simple yet a unique concept, and is revolutionising the street food industry by increasing the health and hygiene value for the customers. Till date delivering hygienic and healthy food had been a major drawback among the street food vendors. 


With a fitness expert as a business partner Ruchir is all equipped to deliver qualitative food. Ruchir said, “The scope for business is huge and vibrant as the organization will reach one and all, those who are looking for healthy street food and to those who would want to tickle their taste buds with a treat on the street.” Ruchir sharing his view on street food said, “Healthy food may not necessarily be diet food, what actually is vital, is that the food has the right amount of nutritive value.” They are also exploring the business possibilities of rolling out mobile gym’s. The concept targets the fitness freaks and aims at facilitating the health buffs with the convenience to work out at their door steps


Ruchir excitedly sharing his achievements said, “The concept on Healthy Che was covered by leading newspapers and media during the launch and it is a big recognition for any company.” With merely a month in business the publicity has boosted Ruchir’s confidence and to add to it is the joy of satisfied and happy customer that assures him to stay in the rollercoaster ride of entrepreneurship. 


When asked why Ruchir chose to be an entrepreneur to opting for a comfortable conventional job, he said, “I did not give myself a choice. I had decided I would either be an entrepreneur or be unemployed!” 


Being an entrepreneur, adversities and challenges were pack and part of the parcel. Later on they became his strength and added to his self morale. “Leaving secure job placements at MICA and then gaining my families confidence, that there was nothing wrong with a food wagon business have so far been the biggest challenge that I can remember. It took months of convincing. Now they are happy!” exclaimed Ruchir.
