Certiicate course in entrepreneurship development

Institute of Excellence in Management Science (IEMS) will start certification courses in entrepreneurship development, natural resources management, banking and e-commerce.

As per college committee chairman N A Charanthimath said: "These courses are offered along with MBA courses. Subject experts will teach these courses. Professionals from Ion exchange, MMTC, EDI Ahmedabad will deliver lectures."

 Among the innovations introduced by the institute are the Language Clinic for teaching modern English accent to students and the IEMS entrepreneurship cell. The clinic also helps students gain soft skills like effective communicating and persuasive drafting. The cell has helped eight students from the first batch to start their own industries/ businesses. The institute maintains constant interaction with industries. This helps students gain exposure to factory units and take up on-site project works, process studies and management practice courses.
