“Placements with Quality”
Jasmine Kaur believes in fulfilling ones potential and reflects her credo in her entrepreneurial venture. Her chosen world of manpower management caters to the ever present need for quality and Jasmine intends to lead the race by providing exemplary services to her clientele.
She explained how she will go about her quest saying “Incorporated in early 2007, we at Need placement consultants are formally focused on our mission that promotes access enabling all to develop their potential. Giving Manpower solutions to our clientele is one of the core activities we are involved into.
“To approach someone boldly” is the meaning of Need placements.”
“In the journey of promulgating our name widely among corporate worlds, we effectively respond to our client and candidate, no matter what the request is. As it is said “There are no traffic jams along the extra mile”, for those of you we haven’t yet worked with we look forward to providing our services to you by going the extra mile on your behalf.”
Jasmine has made efforts to ensure that her venture stands apart from the many competitors that exist today. She explains their distinguishing factors saying “In any economy – whether up or down – consultants need to differentiate themselves from their competitors and in these challenging times Need placement is differentiating itself by its quality of services. We showcase our expertise when we are in the early stage of a relationship with a new client. For example, giving our client's a complimentary seminar, a telephone briefing, or a research report/track record of the candidates that could benefit them. I would say that integrity is reflected in all our marketing and delivery efforts.”
Her entrepreneurial vision was lit by the simple fact that her just rewards and hard work were never going to be hers in a normal job. She states “I had only one reason for that. In a 9 to 5 job I was supposed to work for someone else, a major part of my incentives and perks went in someone else’s pocket, which was not acceptable to me at any cost. Therefore I have decided to be an entrepreneur rather then working for someone else.”
Jasmine found out that the journey from business dreams to entrepreneurial reality is a difficult transition. She spoke of all the challenges that she faced saying “Starting a business was really tough. You have to build a client base, hire employees, and find office space. There are plenty of challenges, but the real one that I find most daunting is raising start-up capital. Today, entrepreneurs are much more likely to dive into their own pockets and hunker down for a battle to start up and stay alive.”
“I have seen many entrepreneurs who transformed start-up capital of $1,000 or less into companies with revenues of $1 million or more, that’s what my aim was. Hitting up family and friends is the most common way to finance a start-up. I also did the same but it’s also the riskiest. Because when entrepreneurs borrow start-up capital from family members or friends, it's best to prepare for the worst.”
She attributes her tenacious stance towards entrepreneurship to “Consistent Positive feedback from my clients “and is refreshingly frank while recalling her many learning experiences. “At the age of 22, it was not that easy to think like a perfect businessman. As a result, I made lots of mistakes from which I learnt many lessons, but one mistake that I have made as an amateur entrepreneur at the initial level was I took things lightly and sometimes for granted as well, which is totally wrong and should not be done in a business. As a result, I ended up with so many troubles at the beginning” states Jasmine.
Need Placement and Jasmine had their hard work justified by their client’s testimonials and appreciation of their excellent work. She explains how this was a factor in maintaining her self-belief saying “My business is my passion…It completes me as a person. What I am today, the happiness that I feel by offering employment opportunities to people and getting the positive feedback from my clients is unmatchable.”
“I judge my success not only on the basis of business barometers like revenues, profits, growth and business reputation and monetary rewards but also on personal factors like self-satisfaction and goal-achievement.”
Jasmine echoes her philosophy in life and work advising others to “Live your dream! Before entering into business do a complete analysis of the market and your competitors. And always be ready to take criticism.”
Yourstory believes that Jasmine has many more achievements to make and wishes to see her fulfill her dreams with the same fire and tenacity in the years to come.
