Task Force under Chairmanship of Shri T. K. Nair met and considered the reports of two Sub-groups, namely Credit and Exit Policy.
The Task Force endorsed the recommendations made by the Sub-groups on Credit.
Regarding the Exit Policy it was noted that some States had existing schemes relating to rehabilitation of sick enterprises. These would be studied to work out a model. The schemes for implementation at National level will be considered with consensus of the State Governments.
It was also decided that the reports of the other sub-groups will be considered in the next meeting.
The meeting was attended by Member, Planning Commission, Secretary, MSME, Secretary, Corporate Affairs, Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, CMD, SIDBI, Representatives of Ministry of Labour, Finance, SBI, RBI and the MSME Associations who are members of the Task Force.
