Entrepreneurship Centre opened in Kottyam, Kerala

An Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) was established at the Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirapally, Kottayam, Kerala . Anto Antony MP inaugurated the facility the other day, in the presence of college manager Fr Varghese Parinthrickal, principal Fr Jose Kannampuzha, director Dr S Balasubramaniam, Dean (R &D) Dr James Jacob, Dr Sebastian Narively and others. The college is the first one in the state to claim an IEDC facility. The institution was selected for the purpose by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, which also entails financial support to the tune of Rs 47 lakhs over a five year period.
