Wharton Venture Initiation Program : From Idea to Implementation

VIP is an educational program managed by Wharton Entrepreneurial Programs which assists University of Pennsylvania students as they guide their business concept from idea to implementation.
Under the program's guidance, students develop their ventures through the real-world experience of executing the initial stages of their ventures. While in VIP students become part of an entrepreneurial community that provides office space and administrative tools as well as a support system of fellow VIP members and professional advising.
The Wharton Venture Initiation Program accepts applications three times per year, at the beginning of the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
niversity of Pennsylvania students enrolled in degree-granting programs are eligible to apply. Once accepted into the program, students are eligible to remain for five contiguous semesters, subject to satisfactory venture progress. Reapplications are required of all members every semester to assure progress is being made.
Program resources include: membership in a vibrant entrepreneurial community of Wharton and Penn students, monthly advising sessions, educational programming, and networking opportunities.
