What happens when 36 people with world-changing ideas spend five days under the same roof?
If you're familiar with UnLtd India, you know that we see ourselves as a launchpad for social entrepreneurs. We support people who have recently started - or want to start - organizations, companies, and initiatives to create positive social change.
UnLtd India is an incubator, providing the one-on-one coaching, networking, and seed capital that people need to achieve huge impact. Our investees do incredible things, from teaching photography to the visually-challenged (Partho, www.blindwithcamera.org) to using football to get drop-outs back in school (Ashok, OSCAR Football Club).
Now we're taking the incubator idea and turning up the heat. Social Entrepreneur Bootcamp is the first of it's kind in India. We're bringing together a batch of 36 potential investees for five intense days of idea refinement, skill development, and personal connection. The experience goes beyond creating plans and strategies - participants get access to multi-sector expert mentors while exploring their own roles within a community of peers. Bootcamp is designed to accelerate the progress of these start-up changemakers so they can create maximum positive impact as quickly as possible.
The whole thing kicks off Monday, March 22. Though Bootcamp ends on March 26, it culminates when potential investees present their ideas to a panel of experts on March 29 and 30. We'll be posting videos, photos, and podcasts throughout so you can follow the insights and join the conversation.
