HARSH MANGLIK APPOINTED CHAIRMAN OF NASSCOM FOR 2010-2011

Mumbai, April 20, 2010 - Information Technology industry body, the National Association of Software and Services Companies, NASSCOM today announced Mr. Harsh Manglik as the new Chairman of its Executive Council for the year 2010-2011.
Mr Harsh Manglik who succeeds Mr. Pramod Bhasin,
Chairman for the year 2009-10, will take on his new role with effect
from April 20, 2010. Previously Mr Harsh Manglik has been a member of
NASSCOM's Executive Council and is currently the Chairman and Geography
Managing Director for Accenture in India. NASSCOM also announced the
appointment of Mr. Rajendra S. Pawar as the Vice Chairman of the
Executive Council. Mr. Rajendra Pawar is the Chairman & Managing
Director of NIIT Technologies.
As Chairman of the Executive Council, Mr. Harsh Manglik will lead and
assist NASSCOM in catalysing the growth of the Indian software industry
and enabling the fulfilment of its future goals and aspirations.

growth over the next 10-years. The majority of this new growth will come
from new areas such as public services/e-Governance, R&D, engineering,

industry issues of inclusion, education, infrastructure security and
corporate governance."

The new Chairman Mr. Manglik along with NASSCOM President, Mr. Som
Mittal and Vice-Chairman Mr. Rajendra Pawar will be responsible for
leading the association into carrying out its diverse array of
priorities including:
* Build initiatives and programs that will enable the industry to
realize the Perspective 2020 vision of `Transforming Business,
Transforming India'.
* Work closely with the government in India and overseas to create
a conducive policy framework for industry growth and globalised
workforces.
* Scale initiatives on talent development and security
* Facilitate mutually beneficial alliances between domestic and
foreign industry players to create long lasting relationships based on
profitability, innovation and growth for all.
* Work closely with foreign governments to minimize hurdles in
obtaining work permits and visas to ensure free movement of work force
to and from India

About Harsh Manglik
Harsh Manglik is the Chairman and Geography Managing Director for
Accenture in India. An engineering graduate from Indian Institute of
Technology, Kanpur, he has earlier studied physics at St. Stephen's
College, University of Delhi. Harsh also holds an MBA degree from
Carnegie Mellon University and a master's degree in Mechanical
Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. Harsh has more than
30-years of experience as a global business and consulting leader. He is
the recipient of the IIT Kanpur Distinguished Alumnus Award.
About Rajendra S. Pawar
Rajendra S. Pawar is the Chairman & Managing Director of NIIT
Technologies. He is an engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of
Technology, Delhi. Mr. Pawar co-promoted NIIT Limited, in 1981 and
currently serves as the Chairman and Managing Director. He is also
Chairman of a premier software company NIIT Technologies Limited. Global
Business Intelligence firm, Ernst & Young conferred on Mr. Pawar its
prestigious Master Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1999. He has also
been named the IT man of the Year by IT industry journal, Dataquest. Mr.
Pawar is on the Board of Governors of the India's premier engineering
institution, IIT Delhi, the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and
Scindia School, Gwalior.
