Movies for change : A date with Chandni Shinde Chandni is a 17 year old film maker who does and teaches film making. Coming from a marginalized community, she learnt movie making from Mam Movies' 'She creates' (Madhu's organization) We will watch two short movies Chandni has made - Muskurati roshni (on female foeticide) and on Organ donation. We follow this up with interaction with her on how film making as a medium has shaped her, and on the themes of the movie .

Understanding 'Biodiversity' in our context
On the occasion of the International World Biodiversity Day, we try and demystify this heavily loaded word.... with ideas from the YES (Youth Encounters in Sustainability) program from Japan, Abhishek will share the latest thinking in areas of biodiversity as well as food security, energy and water issues. This 'quick sampling' will be followed by a QnA
