Yahoo! Open Hack India: 24-25 July 2010

Sunday July 18, 2010 , 2 min Read

As seasoned hackers, you would love for you to attend the event which is being held on the weekend of the 24-25 July at the Taj Residency in Bengaluru

Yahoo will showcase some of there latest technologies as well as have some of there partners come along and talk about their Open APIs

There will be the usual mix of tech talks, entertainment, food and refreshments and some surprises

Registration is now open at http://openhackindia.eventbrite.com/

As before, there is the ticket for just the tech talks on the Saturday and the hacker tickets for the full event (only select one, not both). Please make sure that you read the instructions carefully. We would also love if it you could help us spread the word as you hackers know what the event is all about.

You could hack individually or in groups but please sign-up individually.

There are 2 types of attendees’ registration choices:

Info Geek

  • Those who are interested in attending the Technology Seminars and presentations on Saturday Morning but not the main hack event. If you sign up here, you will be asked to leave after the tech talks end on Saturday.

Hacker Gurus

  • Those who are pure of heart, love hacking up new ideas, creative souls, free-birds, possess entrepreneurial passions, or just want to build something for world peace… for a 2 day overnight tech mayhem & hacking bliss – including the Saturday Tech Presentations, hacking through the night, Sunday demos & judging & prizes.

Book your place now! You know you want to. Due to the limited size of the venue, we will be reviewing applications for attendance and giving preference to those we believe will best be able to contribute to the development of a hack at the event. We will send “Open Hack Day Confirmed” emails by the first week of July to all the selected registrations applications.
