Kayvon Olomi is a 25 year old entrepreneur from Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. He is the founder of AppTank is an online platform to find professional developers and premium app projects. At AppTank you can post a full range of app projects. If you need a complete app built or just need graphics for your app. Kayvon answer a few questions about AppTank. What makes apptank different from other similar platforms?

With AppTank, you can be sure that you are connecting with the most talented professional developers. You are avoiding the mess of searching the internet and trying to find professional developers. Simply post your project on AppTank and let the developers come to you. Unlike similar sites that charge a posting fee or commission, AppTank allows you to post your projects for free.

How did this come about?I was in search of an app developer and I found it difficult to find a quality developer, let alone able to compare developer to ensure that I was selecting the proper one. There was no service provided where you would place yourself in front of professional developers, so this is where the concept of AppTank came from.

How does app tank work for different groups?

Simple, individuals or businesses that are needing app work done from simple items such as graphics or just coding or even full app development can post their project to AppTank for the community of developers to review and bid on. They input a description of their project, they set a bid completion date and a project due date as well as a budget for which they are willing to spend. They then select the platforms for which they are wanting to develop their project for and select if they are wanting to work with developers either in their country or worldwide. Once they submit their project, a member of AppTank will then review their project and verify it to ensure it is a legitimate project.

As for developers, they simply fill out their project and set their preferences for what type of projects they would prefer working on. Once they complete these forms, they then proceed their developer dashboard and review the projects that are posted. If they find a project they are interested in developing, they first need to purchase credits to bid on the project. Once they purchase the credits, they can purchase the lead for the project and begin the process of bidding on the project. It is that simple. It is free to sign up for both parties and it is free for clients to post their project!

How do you make sure that the IP of your idea is safeguarded?

Be sure to keep your description as detailed as possible without giving away your idea. Once a developer has purchased your lead, before discussing your idea, you should have them sign / agree to an NDA. Be sure to mention in your description that you require them to sign an NDA.

Currently there has not been a final project completed through AppTank. Since we are a fairly young service, only 4 months old, the projects that were initially posted when we launched are nearing completion and we are eager for their publication. Currently to date, there has been over 200 projects posted on AppTank.
