TechSparks 2011 RoundTable at Hotel Fortune Select Manohar, Begumpet, Hyderabad at 2 pm todayThe headquarters of Google in India is Hyderabad. As YourStory’s search for promising tech startups in products, mobile VAS, Cloud, and Web 2.0 hots up (perhaps with a hope of stumbling upon India’s own Google-like company) to end up in a grand finale in Bangalore in August, we enter Hyderabad in the last lap of our four-city Regional RoundTable round up. At 2 pm today, Hotel Fortune Select Manohar will play host to the fourth and final Regional RoundTable. Hyderabad startup folks are invited.
As we look for inspiration, we find that Phanindra Sama, who has built a new business of bus ticket aggregation online through redBus.in, fits the bill to inspire all those startup folks. Phani will deliver the keynote. And then we have the usual go-to-market strategy discussion involving various experts. The city known for its biriyani is also becoming known for technology companies. Startups are increasingly becoming prominent. The city definitely has a Hi-Tec City character. We have global giants sitting up in Hyderabad, which is likely to result in startup spin-offs.
Narendra Bhandari, Director, Intel Software & Services Group – Developer Relations Division (Asia Pacific), will show what Intel is doing in the apps space and how startups can leverage Intel’s programs to develop apps. E-commerce is now becoming a rage among investors. Cloud is likely to rewrite the way technology is used in the future. Nitin Padmawar, CTO, Reasoning Global eApplications, will combine commerce and cloud to present on “Building Multi-level Digital Commerce Platform on Cloud.”
