The recently concluded Esparks showed how buoyant the E-Commerce market in India. Riding on the same boat, Vouchersmate is a privately funded e-commerce venture started in September 2011. It caters to the Indian audience with more than 500 gift offerings. Here's a profile of this new venture:What is Vouchersmate?
Vouchersmate aims at making gifting an experience by offering a ‘24 X 7’ Online Gift Shop for audience to buy and send gifts to their loved ones anywhere across the world.
About the founder.
Vouchersmate is the brain child of Amit Sharma, a techpreneur with a background of successful business venture in UK outsourcing market, a computer science engineer and an ex-army officer. Mr. Sharma is the Managing Director of Avenir Labs, an interactive digital media agency serving in UK, which is the parent company of vouchersmate.
How does it work?
As a user, one can browse through the website and search for different brands, products, greeting cards, as per any occasion or can also browse through general gifts and can add the selected items to the shopping cart.
Once the user has shopped, he can proceed to payment. Vouchersmate accepts payment through Credit Cards, Debit Cards, online transfer and Paypal. Within 24 hours of order confirmation, the gift box is shipped to the user on the mentioned address.
What can one gift?
Vouchers from some of the top national brands, greeting cards, personalized gifts and gift cards which enables the recipient to buy anything of his/her choice. All the gift vouchers are redeemable pan-India.
