Eyewatch launches the “No More Panic” button for the Indian Army

Indianeye Security Private Limited, a Delhi based technology driven Security Company has launched a mobile application for the Indian Army Personnel’s families, Veteran and Ex- Servicemen to connect with their loved ones at the time of distress. Eyewatch has been launched by the Chief of Army Staff, Gen. V.K. Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, and ADC for the safety and assurance of Army families, Veterans and the Ex-Servicemen on the auspicious occasion of Army Day, 15th January 2012.
Eyewatch is an emergency alert system on your mobile phone, which at the press of a button sends multiple messages, images, videos, sound bites and your location status to your near and dear ones automatically alerting them of one’s emergency situation.
Indianeye Security believes that this technology can prove to a great help in curbing out issues like assaults on women, especially when they are returning from work late in the evening, ragging in colleges, medical emergencies, road accidents, any personal security threat and the list can go on. As a part of the company’s corporate social responsibility, a basic version of this service is currently being offered completely free for any individual user to reassure their safety and enable them to instantly communicate at the time of distress.
After more than 2 years of Research & Development and an investment of over a million dollars by IndianeyeSecurity Ltd, Eyewatch emergency alert application is now available on Nokia Symbian S60, Blackberry and Android Smart Phones, offering users a Web based Personal Control Panel to view a user’s details at the time of any emergency.
