When we think of social media recruitment, the first site that comes to mind is LinkedIn. It is the professional network that most recruiters prefer. There are a few other niche social networks, specific to certain industries, that are also used.

Though Facebook has more users than any other social network, it is not considered to be a major hiring channel. It is a great source for finding talent.

This infographic by HireRabbit illustrates that 48% of all job seekers (63% of those with a profile) have done atleast on social job hunting activity on Facebook in the last year. It also shows how people interact with brands online.
