Bookmytrainings Secures Angel Funding from Directors of Symbiotic Infotech

The size of the investment is undisclosed. The funds shall be used for hiring, marketing and fine-tuning the portal.
Bookmytrainings.com was launched in March 2011, and is now 12 people strong. So far, more than 80 corporates have reached out to Bookmytrainings for sourcing trainers for their in-house training needs.
L.A.BalaMurugan, Co-founder & CEO of Bookmytrainings.com said, “We currently have a strong network of 200 training providers across India, and have 400 training programs listed on a daily basis. We aim to take this to 1000 program listings per day by the end of 2012”.
He added, “We are currently operational in 50 domains, and we want to scale up to over 200 domains by the end of 2012. That would cover all the training needs of students and working professionals across various sectors.”
The company is also planning to venture into creating a similar marketplace for e-learning modules in India.
