Bus Ticketing Company TicketGoose Raises INR 3 Crores from US Based Angel Investors

TicketGoose.com, a web ticketing portal focused on South India, promoted by Efficsys InfoTech India Pvt Ltd recently announced that it raised INR 3 crores from angel investors based out of US. Putting the valuation of the company at US $ 7 million, the new funding will enable the company to consolidate its position in the B2B market space and also work aggressively on customer acquisition for its B2C platform.

Commenting on this Arun Athiappan, Co-Founder and CEO, TicketGoose.com, said “The funding will enable us to strengthen and expand our technical infrastructure and to launch innovative features which will add a lot of value to the online booking experience of our customers. The enhancements will address the pain points of online booking experienced by users on any bus ticket booking website." Adding to this he said, "Once we roll out our next version, tentative scheduled for October, we believe our customers will have the best in class experience while booking online bus tickets which will be significant differentiator with regards to competition. We value our customers’ time very much and aim to provide them a very convenient way to book their bus tickets through a host of differentiated features.”

Launched in 2007, TicketGoose currently provides services like price, availability and booking facility for buses to more than 4500 destinations in South India. It has a strong presence in Tier II cities of Tamil Nadu.
