On popular demand, we are back with something much bigger! We are hosting India’s first free Webinar on Shaping your Career for the Cloud; and we have got two of the industry experts, Raghavan Subramanian, AVP, Cloud Computing, Center of Excellence at Infosys Technologies and Janakiram MSV, Cloud Specialist & Chief Editor at CloudStory.in to interact with you and answer all your queries.

The objective of the Webinar is to take each stream of Developers, Architects and IT Operations Professionals and define a career roadmap aligned with the Cloud. We plan to cover the new exciting career options like Virtualization Architect and DevOps Professional.

This Webinar will be of two parts - Part 1 will cover the evolution of each role while part 2 will be a conversation between Raghavan Subramanian and Janakiram MSV on how the roles are transforming in the age of Cloud and what skills are being the most sought after by industry leaders like Infosys. We will wrap it up with a moderated Q&A. The duration of this Webinar is 1 hour, between 11AM and 12PM on 25th July.

About Raghavan Subramanian -

Raghavan heads the cloud computing and performance-engineering centers of excellence. He is responsible for Infosys service offerings, building competencies, creating IP and adoption accelerators as well in establishing Infosys thought leadership in this space.

Raghavan was earlier the product manager for the Infosys Social Media platform, a SaaS offering. In this role he was responsible for the creation of several web 2.0 modules like video-uploads, blogs, online communities, forums, social analytics and integrating them in a holistic manner.

Prior to this he was program-manager of a consortium of technology companies that came together to build an online-collaboration portal for a famous think-tank organization to connect the leaders of the world. He headed the technology consulting group of EMEA. He has reviewed/defined the IT strategy of telecom-service-providers, banks and retail organizations in the US, Europe and Australia.

He was earlier with SETLabs leading the information-security, EAI, BPM and OOAD research teams. He has published several papers, co-authored 2 patents and has been an invited speaker in multiple forums.

About Janakiram MSV –


Janakiram MSV is the Principal Consultant of Janakiram & Associates. Through his speaking, writing and consulting, he helps businesses take advantage of the emerging technologies. Founder and driving force of an initiative called GetCloudReady.com, he enables Architects, Developers and IT Professionals to be ready for the Cloud. He is the Chief Editor of a popular portal on Cloud called CloudStory.in where he analyzes the latest trends from the world of Cloud Computing. Janakiram has worked at world-class product companies including Microsoft Corporation, Amazon Web Services and Alcatel-Lucent. His last role was with Amazon Web Services as the Technology Evangelist where he joined them as the first employee in India. Prior to that, Janakiram spent 10 years at Microsoft Corporation where he was involved in selling, marketing and evangelizing the Microsoft Application Platform and Tools. At the time of leaving Microsoft, he was a Technical Architect, Cloud focusing on Windows Azure.
