2 Days, 500 Startups! Thanks for the amazing response to YourStory Pages

We launched YourStory Pages day before yesterday, in an attempt to bring structured information about startups in the Indian eco-system in one place and make it easier for everyone to search for and discover interesting new startups. The response to YourStory pages has been overwhelming, and we are truly humbled by your response!

In less than 48 hours, YourStory Pages has seen over 500 startups create their profiles!

This tremendous response has given us great confidence in our mission to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to showcase all the phenomenal work that they've been putting in. YourStory Pages is still in Beta, and we're actively making lots of new improvements to the product. Among new things since the launch are a better ranking algorithm and social buttons on each company's profile page, so you can now follow them on twitter with one click! There are lots of new improvements coming soon, and your feeback has been invaluable. Do keep it flowing in and we'll ensure all the requirements are fulfilled.If you haven't had a chance to look, YourStory Pages is must be place for all startups. Modeled after Wikipedia, anyone can edit Pages. If you see wrong data, or a mis-classified company or anything else that you think should be changed, feel free to edit the page and send your corrections to our moderators for approval. We'll do our best to ensure accuracy and keep YourStory Pages up-to-date and free from spam.
