Peppermint Events and Entertainment is an integrated media and entertainment management firm which has made a name for itself in the event management space. Founded in 2009 with a vision to provide innovative solutions to the event and entertainment industry, Peppermint has come a long way in its journey. The founder Jimmy Bhandari also features in the bestseller "Chicken Soup for the Indian soul at work". He spoke about their 3 and ½ years in the industry and how they are still keeping things Peppermint fresh for their clientele.

Jimmy explains “The name itself signifies freshness. What we pitch to the client is fresh ideas even if the concept is the same. It’s a differentiating factor for us.” He cites the time when they did a product launch for a black head removing scrub. The scrub had green apples in it so they got the audience to throw green apples at a lady’s face to remove her black heads. Johnson & Johnson judged it as the best product launch in India after seeing their inventive display. He explained how he took up event management saying “I was eager to start something on my own. I worked with an event management company in Pune and I was very passionate about events and this was something I wanted to do all my life. This was very challenging and fun and I wanted to get into it”

Their expertise lies in corporate events, experiential marketing, product launches, retailtainment, theme parties, weddings and sporting events. Jimmy adds “In a short span of time, we have not only been able to carve a niche for ourselves, but have also made our presence strongly felt in the entertainment sector. Whether it’s a wedding in the family, or a corporate event that needs to be spiced up, we provide an array of awe-inducing experiences to ensure your guests have a great time.”

Peppermint is based in Nasik but operates all over Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh with offices in Nasik, Indore and Pune. 4 people work on a permanent basis in Nasik, 2 in Pune, 4 in Indore. Most workers come from event management institutes and Peppermint gets its specialist workers as freelancers allowing them to save on costs.

Peppermint owes its runaway success to its team which does multiple events each month. Also the events they do are from references and referrals which says volumes about the buzz they are creating. According to Jimmy 95% of their business happens from references.Jimmy has big plans for Peppermint and is thinking of more regions in which to set up operations. He says “We have done more than 125 events and are planning to scale up the team plus operations in Karnataka, we are launching a office in Bangalore.” Forward integration is also on the cards as Jimmy wants Peppermint to become a complete media agency. They have also started a specialized wedding planning company along with a Digital media company.
