Youth to Business Forum 2012 with AIESEC at IIT Delhi

Youth to Business Forum 2012  in collaboration with Ericson is a platform for the youth to engage & develop their potential through a series of competitions & training seminars in over 50 colleges to qualify for the final showdown of AIESEC in Delhi IIT’s biggest event of the year Youth to Business Forum 2012- Business Case Competition. It is an opportunity for college students to engage with the corporate world and take a step closer to their dreams through the various phases of the event, including a series of fun competitions and solving of case studies related to their field. After Impacting over 1000 students across Delhi and also from colleges like IIM Ahmedabad, St. Xaviers Mumbai, IIM Ranchi, IIM Indore, MDI, SRCC, Symbiosis Pune and many more, in Stage 1, the event just got bigger with the Mentorship day. 40 teams came down to Stage 2 dissolving them in the following sectors: Engineering and IT Solution; Banking, Finance and Investment; Marketing; and Mass Communication and Journalism.

The competition began with case studies followed by general discussion regarding the same as the mentors mentoring the groups became the main interest of public eye in the event. Mr. Chander Malhotra Director of Gateway Production and Technologies; Mr. Dhruv Rao, Business Development Associate of Home Safe India; Mr. Arjun Singhal , Founder CEO of blowtrumpet.com; Founder of Quotient1 Ms. Saloni Kaul; Mr. Kulvinder Lamba, branch manager of Karbonn Mobiles; Mr. Abhishek Goyal, CEO of CCS Services, Dr.Anjali Nigam, Founder Director, WhiteSwan consulting; Ms. Abhilash Mishra and Ms. Ayushi Gupta from Nurture Talent Academy; Mr. Abhinav Gupta, Founder Director of floost; Mr. Aayush Nigam, Founder & Head Innovation,WCG Robotics Lab; Mr. Ninad Mohile, Manager - Gold Nib Fellowship Commission at IIFM and Mr Raj Kishore Mishra, General Manager at Future Generali India Insurance Co. Ltd were the esteemed mentors who added allure to the event.

“It is good to be a part of such a big event. I tried to grab as much as I could from such great mentors. After all it is a complete learning process” said one of the participants from Engineering and IT Solution field. The mentors too had a great time attending the event. “The young minds of country are capable of creating wonders. The competition is healthy and I hope the best team shall win” said one of the mentors. The founder of CCS Services Mr. Abhishek Goyal, Founder Director WhiteSwan Consulting Dr. Anjali Nigam shared some good experiences with the young minds.
