Apart from Rahul and Siddhish, the team has Hitesh as the Lead Engineer, Jignesh and Nimesh as the Developers. This team has stayed together for more than 2.5 years with a staunch belief in their idea of Gnomic.

A Unique Challenge
We do not see a startup working in the embedded systems field so often. Hence the challenges faced by such startups remain obscure. “Embedded projects are generally very huge. Very few companies take risks to give part of big project to start-ups. Most difficult is to convince customers to trust us for their multi millions USD projects. Also, getting talented and experienced engineers is difficult in Ahmedabad,” adds Siddhish.
On a different note, Siddhish adds that, “I observed recession actually helped us as our unique selling point was our low cost product. Also, one’s contacts in the industry matter a lot. Contacts help you to get initial leads and chance to present yourself.”
“We want to add more talent and simultaneously develop a strategy to get more work from the customers. This could considerably help us increase our revenue. We also have a plan to develop some stable and saleable embedded devices to sell directly in consumer market,” says Siddhish, sharing his plans.
On a concluding note, Siddhish talks about the work culture they have built at Gnomic, “I think key to a company’s success is the company atmosphere. We all work as a family and with passion. We do not have any strict rules and regulation like other corporate companies. We try to provide our people satisfaction of work and make them live happily without any tensions in company. We periodically go out for lunch, celebrate Birthdays and other functions.” A enthusiastic startup indeed!
