YourStory is Hiring an Online Community Manager

Hiring seems like the holy grail to make a startup work and we're looking for one more piece in the puzzle to thrust our own story. We at YourStory are looking for an online community manager to take care of our social media channels, newsletters, and online community engagements.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

1. Work closely with the content team to come up with interesting and engaging posts on Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin

2. Regularly organize Facebook contests, polls, Twitter contests and chats to understand the pulse of our community

3. Create and send out weekly newsletters to our database of subscribers

4. Lead on all things related to social media at YourStory

What we Expect?

1. Two years experience working with social media tools and channels (it is alright if you are a fresher, we will make an exception given that you are driven and have a passion for learning on the job real fast )

2. Thorough understanding of how online communities work

3. Good eye for design

4. Deep interest in the Indian Startup Ecosystem (This is a must)

5. Maniacal obsession with detail, and you must naturally enjoy being online 24/7 and also be very much interested in people
