BookAdSpace, the platform for media owners and buyers receives angel investment from Aakrit Vaish and Miten Sampat
BookAdSpace is a technology platform for physical advertisement media owners and media buyers. It act as online software that helps media owner and buyers run their business more efficiently and become organized. A Morpheus Gang company, BookAdSpace has raised angel investment from Aakrit Vaish (Director, Flurry India) and Mitesh Sampat (VP, Product Strategy, Quova). The amount of funding is undisclosed and will be used to consolidate the product roadmap and hire employees.Prayaag Kasundra, the founder of Bookadspace hails from Ahmedabad where the tech team is based but he along with the sales and management team operate from Mumbai. "We're currently targeting the Mumbai market," informs Prayaag. Bookadspace provides software tools to manage businesses and organize business information efficiently for media owners and agencies. "We are getting good response from media owners. We conceptualized in 2011 but got our first version out in 2012 and have continuously improved the product. We're still not going big on marketing as we're collecting feedback from the customers we are working with."
BookAdSpace provides workflow based tools for media owners- from managing inventory and availability to proposal, booking, installation and billing/ invoicing. And for media buyers, BookAdSpace provides tools to maintain media and campaign (Media Buying, a sub function of advertising management, is the procurement of media real estate at optimal placement and price). Commenting on the investment, Aakrit Vaish said, "Coming from the digital advertising world, we think there is a huge opportunity if the offline space can be organized in a similar manner. There is a clear need for a product like this in the market."
